With the belief that everything we need is of the Earth, Virgin Suncare, is a beauty brand that transforms natural remedies of timeless tradition into health and self care ritual. The brand is centered around organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and the daily ritual of slathering yourself in it, common to those in the Mediterranean. The oil along with 8 other botanical ingredients are all sourced from organic farmers in Italy and each batch of oil is made in small quantities to preserve purity. The task was to create an identity that spoke to this natural and intuitive tradition of bathing in oil with elegance, romanticism and a bit of whimsy.

Visual Identity
Working strategically with the creative director and client behind Virgin Suncare, we ideated and massaged branding concepts that reflected luxury, sophistication and worldly sun-kissed nostalgia. Inspired by a lifestyle along the Italian Riviera, the solution presented is a refined and minimal mark centered around a romantic typeface. The primary logo is complemented by the following marks allowing the brand to expand tastefully across each platform. The product itself is luscious in it’s own right. Food for the skin that you’ll be grateful you applied.
Packaging
We designed several layers of packaging that provide function and a solidified identity. From bottle, box and informational printed pieces, the customer receives a thorough explanation of the product’s ingredients, where they came from and how exactly they support your skin’s vitality all while experience the branded elements from different angles. In addition, each bottle is accompanied by a silk striped sachet with interior microfiber lining to wipe off any excess oil after application and throw into your bag for on the go or at the beach use.
