Stellar Jay is a vibrant rooftop dining experience featuring bold, live-fire cooking and shared plates set against the backdrop of Colorado’s urban skyline and mountain views. With a commitment to eliminating food waste, minimizing carbon impact, and repurposing organic materials, Stellar Jay embodies environmental stewardship while offering an energetic, one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Starting from scratch, we worked closely with the chef to capture his vision of live-fire cooking and nature-inspired ingredients, grounding the brand in the dynamic energy of the rooftop. We proposed the name Stellar Jay, inspired by the iconic bird of Colorado, evoking a sense of altitude, celestial views, and the bold spirit of this species. Building on this concept, we developed a brand identity featuring hand-drawn illustrations of the Jay’s wings and signature mohawk, complemented by a mixed-width logomark that conveys the lively, pulsing energy of the space.
